The Founder

The Founder of Alpha Antenna, a division of Productive Industries, LLC, is Steven Deines. First licensed as an Amateur Radio operator in 1979 as KA0GNX, for decades Steven exclusively operated a TenTec Century 21, which is a CW only rig. Steve says, "Amateur Radio kept me out of trouble as a youth, and taught me that hams are the best people you could ever know." In 2003, after being struck head-on by a semi-truck, amateur radio once again became a refuge for Steve. Steve states that "My eyes were opened to a need, a personal need to give back to the amateur radio community for being there for me in my teenage years and during my recovery of 2003 & 2004." The Merriam Webster dictionary defines the word Alpha as "something that is first" and is an alternate word for "BEGINNING". In 2005 Alpha Antenna became the 'new beginning' for a life that was granted a second chance. Steve is still active at Hamfests around the world where amateur radio operators gather, and back at home in the companies headquarters many other hams stand ready to answer your phone call, build high performance antenna systems, and research & develop new systems for the future.
