Great Portable HF Vertical antenna.

I am very impressed with this portable vertical. I have the 6-160 version with the alpha matching box. This antenna has a SWR of less than 2.9 on all bands 6-160 as measured on my MFJ 259B antenna analyzer. I have tested it with my IC-703 and IC-746Pro. With the 703 I made contacts on 20M no tuning to Ohio, Pennsylvania, San Diego using 10 watts. With the 746Pro I tested with and without the tuner. I was able to transmit on all bands with no tuner but had reduced power (60 to 70 watts) on some bands, but all bands had full 100-watt power using only the internal radio tuner. So far using the 746Pro I have made contacts on 40M with several stations in Texas from Lubbock to Corpus Christi, 17M to Spokane WA, Maritime Mobile near LaPaz Mexico, 20M to Grand Junction Colorado all from my location north of Dallas TX. I am also able to tune my MARS frequencies out of the HAM bands at full power. I had several opportunities to contact the company with technical question, and the service was OUTSTANDING. This will be my primary Field Day and Radio in the Park antenna. Great performing antenna that will fit into a carry bag about 40” in length.
