What coax should I use?

What coax should be used for HF, VHF, or UHF frequencies? We recommend looking at the Coaxial Cable Loss Chart to determine what coax to use.

For example, on a run that is less than 100 feet, RG-58 (U) provides a good balance between price and performance for HF Frequencies. While VHF and UHF benefit more from RG-213 (RG213) or heavier coax such as LMR-400 (LMR400).
