Coaxial RF Grounding Coupler plus 3/8 24 nut

$11.99

Coaxial Grounding Coupler

RF Jumper for the Auto Match when installed on the HexTenna.

Alternatively, this can be used for additional grounding of a lightning arrestor, which is always a good idea! Therefore, we build this Coaxial RF Grounding Coupler for all antennas no matter the maker, which can be used in tandem with any lightning arrestor.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Step 1 – Either attach the CLIP of the Coaxial RF Grounding Coupler to the barrel connector:
    1. on the PL-259 on your feedline at the antenna, or
    2. on an in-line barrel adapter between your equipment and antenna.
  2. Then attach the ring connector to a common ground with the 3/8 24 nut.

EXAMPLE

Anything conductive that is not grounded will collect a static charge. As the charge builds up, it’ll raise your noise floor and attract lightning to it. Grounding the antenna drains off any charge that builds up before it can attract a strike.

NOTE – Grounding the braid of your coax cable will not protect your equipment from a direct lightning strike.
