SS34+ Vertical VHF HF Antenna

The SS34+ Antenna is a 2-40 Meter Alpha SS34+ is a 304 stainless steel, 17-section telescopic whip that extends to 34.5 feet and collapses to approximately 29 inches includes one free Guy Ring Adapter.

This VHF HF Vertical Antenna is also configurable as a 5/8 vertical with gain when deployable for 2 through 17 meters. For the approximate deployed element length in feet as a 5/8 vertical, divide 585 by frequency in MHz.

• The 4 x 35′ Radial Kit provides a ground plan to increase performance when attached to the included mounting bolts on the premium SS34+ stainless steel telescopic antenna, making this option an ideal choice for building your multi-band portable antenna.
• For even more stability the Guying Kit.
• The SS34+ Mount with UHF L-Adapter for installing everything on.

The SS34+ should not be used with the Alpha Antenna Auto Match nor the HexTenna Hub

It is necessary to Guy this system with ropes and anchors to the included Guying Adapter when deployed for 30/40 meters or it will bend and sway. Guying may also be required on other bands if wind conditions require it.
