The EK-705 V2 is a Enhancement Kit for the ICOM AL-705 magnetic loop antenna that will adds 60/80M increases stability of the loop, adds 60 & 80 meters, or Boosts your efficiency on 20-40 meters.

This AL-705 Enhancement Kit is available exclusively from Alpha Antenna, and it will:

• Add 60 & 80 Meters to your ICOM AL-705 magnetic loop.
• Increase efficiency on 20 to 40 Meters by up to 47%
• Provide a mount for easier and more stable deployments.
• Power ratings with the Booster Cable are 10 watts on PEP SSB and 5 watts CW, AM, FM, & Digital

DESIGN

This version of the Icom AL-705 loop has been designed to enable you to tune the antenna by changing the shape of the inner loop. This free-floating element is free and clear of obstructions, enabling it to couple with no inductive losses to supports. The design also enables you to independently move the inner loop closer or further from the outer loop, using the tuned spacer.  We know that you will enjoy the additional tuning & the ability to vary your signal pattern by ‘squashing’ the outer loop.

INDEPENDENT RESULTS 

The ICOM AL-705 Magnetic Loop Antenna is only available from Authorized ICOM Dealer’s.

Set the default outer loop aside and form Two concentric loops using only the booster cable to increase efficiency on 20 to 40 meters.

Configure Three concentric loops by attaching the Default outer loop with the Booster cable sing a barrel connector to enable 40/60/80 meters.
